Travel can spark curiosity, deepen understanding, build connections, and create new educational and professional opportunities. But even experiences close to home can be out of reach when transportation, admission, registration, lodging, or other costs become a barrier.
Travel Unity works with destinations on Regional Travel Grants to help more people access meaningful travel experiences that they might not otherwise be able to pursue.

We are building the partnerships and funding needed to support future local and regional travel opportunities.
From 2022 to 2025, Travel Unity ran the Discover Your World Scholarship program, funded by Hospitalented. The program awarded travel stipends to individuals around the world for local and regional travel experiences they could not otherwise afford: a first visit to a national research institute, a workshop in another city, a trip to a part of their own country they had never seen.
Across three rounds, nine recipients received scholarships:
2022: Lilian Karolline Lima Cavalcante (Brazil), Utkarsh Sethia (India), Adeniyi Mercy Ayomide (Nigeria)
2024: Valeria Belén Cerpa Salas (Peru), Seka Jean Blaise Tarnyuy (Cameroon), Mukudzei Seremani (Zimbabwe)
2025: Synthia Yieseh Achoh (Cameroon), Wilder Tchoungang (Cameroon), Shalom Ruvimbo Badze (Zimbabwe)
Applications came from more than 60 individuals across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Americas, reviewed by a committee of travel industry professionals.
